Mr. Newmaker holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, graduating in 1989 with academic distinction as well as a MS degree in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University. Mr. Newmaker served on active duty in the U.S. Army in a variety of assignments with the Army Signal Corps, completing Army Ranger School and has numerous parachute jumps to his credit. After separating from the Army, Mr. Newmaker worked as a software technical lead and manager for CTA Incorporated, Client/Server Division of Titan Corporation, and Booz-Allen & Hamilton working in the defense, e-commerce and telecommunications domains. With over 20 years of experience in software development, to include all phases of the software lifecycle, Mr. Newmaker has expertise in the following languages and development environments: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, Ada, Oracle, FORTRAN, COBOL, Pascal, AWK, UNIX shells, and LISP. As COO of DSoft Technology, he has led the company to profitability and assignment growth every year during his tenure.
