Sean McClung

DSoft Technology, Engineering & Analysis, Inc, a Colorado Springs based Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and high-end technology consulting and IT services company, is pleased to announce that Sean McClung, Col, USAF (ret), has joined their team as Vice President, Defense Sector Operations.

Sean spent his Air Force career in the field of space operations, retiring after 28 years. His last military assignment was as Director of the National Space Studies Center, Maxwell AFB, Alabama in 2010.  Sean is co-founder of two non-profits in Colorado: the National Veterans Vocational Village Foundation, a 501(c)(3) returning veterans to a life of community and productivity, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Colorado, a 501(c)(6) non-profit business league promoting the safe integration and use of UAS throughout the state for the benefit of the public. Sean brings years of systems development, planning, and operations experience and has served in senior management of several companies in the space industry.  Sean serves on the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade Advanced Industry Accelerator Grant Review Team which has provided millions of dollars in grants for new aerospace businesses in Colorado. He is also a founding member and until recently Co-Chair of the Colorado Springs Chamber and Economic Development Corporation Aerospace and Defense Team, advocating and promoting the resilience of the Colorado Springs regional aerospace industry. Sean holds a BS from the University of Florida, and an MA from International University London, England. He is a veteran of OPERATION NOBLE EAGLE, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, OPERATIONS DESERT SHIELD / STORM and the COLD WAR.
