Technical Help Desk Associate (Civil)
DSoft Technology is seeking a Technical Help Desk Associate to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 on-site customer support to a federal agency in Golden, CO. Requires 3+ years’ experience provisioning, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing 125+ Windows workstations, laptops, and associated peripheral hardware (printers, scanners, VOIP desk phones, etc). The person filling this role must possess excellent customer service soft skills in verbal & written communication, empathy, attention to detail, and friendliness.

Job Type: Full Time Salaried
Salary Range: $44,000 to $50,000; the estimate range represents the typical salary for the position commensurate with experience, knowledge and demonstrated success in the field and other factors. Opportunity for "Pay For Performance" Bonuses.

This role is responsible for:
- Responding to user requests for desktop diagnostics and troubleshooting within Service Level Agreements
- Loading and updating Windows operating systems, applications, and Defender end-point security software
- Installation and configuration of hardware components of desktop and laptop systems
- Configuring and maintaining teleconferencing applications / hardware and VOIP phones
- Functional operation of A/V systems, and staging of computer equipment and A/V systems for meeting and presentation events
- Training end users in basic use of business-specific applications and minor self-service troubleshooting measures
- Assisting government staff with IT inventory management

- 2+ years’ experience with implementing Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of Systems Security Engineering fundamentals in NIST SP 800-160
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices
- Collaborative, service-driven, and team-based orientation
