USSF Tactical Doctrine Wiki

DSoft Technology designs, creates, and supports the Unites States Space Force (USSF) Tactical Doctrine Wiki system which provides a single source for day-to-day information sharing to ensure knowledge is current across all space mission areas.  The system includes the Minerva MediaWiki subsystem and the Tactical Decision Aid (TDA) subsystem, both enabling USSF Guardians rapid collaboration and dissemination of new developments in doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), academics, analysis, and tools.

DSoft Technology implemented the Tactical Doctrine Wiki as a containerized microservice-based distributed system with browser-based user interfaces hosted by Platform One DevSecOps. Microservices include MediaWiki, MySQL database, Elasticsearch index, Nginx reverse proxy, custom orbital dynamics math engines (i.e. Standardized Astrodynamic Algorithm Library), and 3D Cesium visualization tools, developed using Agile methodologies. These microservices communicate with each other via HTTP and Representational State Transfer (REST).

Technologies: RHEL 7, CentOS (Operating System), Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment, Apache (Website Framework), MediaWiki (Wiki Framework), ActiveMQ (Message Broker), Docker & Kubernetes (Container Orchestration), MySQL (Database), CSS, HTML, Cesium/Unity (3D Graphics), Security (ACAS, SonarQube, Fortify), Configuration Management (Git, Confluence, MediaWiki), Cloud (DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Platform One PaaS and SaaS, ODIN All Domain Common Environment Party Bus)
