Air Force Space Command Lessons Learned Project

DSoft Technology assisted Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) by providing technical support throughout the establishment and implementation of procedures to collect, validate, disseminate, and track information across the spectrum of operations, and vet them into actionable lessons learned. These lessons were derived through extensive review and analysis of after-action reports from major operations, contingencies, key exercises and experiments, and any other significant event and/or topic identified by AFSPC leadership. Our Lessons Learned Team established methods to assess the progress of proposed doctrinal, procedural, and programmatic solutions, and further developed tools and methodology for the dissemination of causation, impact, and resolution statements. Most importantly, we built a culture of continuous improvement within each organization ensuring a systematic way to collect, validate, disseminate and resolve. These lessons were consistently provided to AFSPC senior leaders, within each echelon of the organization, and tracked through to resolution to ensure suitable implementation.
